The nearest airport is Bergerac, which is a 1 hour drive from the house.
You can hire cars at the airport from Avis, and there are other hire companies in the town itself.

Toulouse-Blagnac Airport
Toulouse airport is around a 1 hour 45 minute drive via Cahors and the autoroute.
Follow signs for Bordeaux from the airport and get on the autoroute A62. After about 25k start looking for the turnoff to Paris/Montauban. Very important you don't miss this. Drive round Montauban and continue on the autoroute to Cahors. Enter Cahors and after driving about 1k through the southern commercial zone (car showrooms, Carrefour, Weldom etc) take the 3rd exit off the roundabout for the D820. This is the Cahors bypass. Stay on this (via big viaduct, bridge over the Lot) until you get to a roundabout next to McDonalds. Take 4th exit marked D811. Keep driving until you get to Prayssac and follow directions on map shown on Road section.
Alternatively you can take the shuttle bus from the airport to the railway station in Toulouse centre and catch a train to Cahors, and either hire a car or take a taxi from there to the house. (See the section on Rail)

Look for Autoroute signs for Bordeaux
Stay on A62 to Bordeaux for about 25km
Take Paris/Montauban turnoff - don't miss it!
Drive round Montauban and follow Autoroute to Cahors
Take first Cahors exit
Take D820 Cahors bypass and then D811
Stay on this road until Prayssac

Get on A630 going South
